I have a German Shepherd mix and tears up our wooden privacy fence when neighbors are mowing or their dogs are out, she also barks and barks sooo loud and when shes in that mode she just will not listen. I used this yesterday and immediately her head drooped down and backed off. My little Schnauzer really didn’t seem affected even though he heard it, but he’s not the problem. This product really works! My two dogs bark constantly at the neighbors , at the sound of car doors,etc. It was extremely annoying and if something was going on outside I couldn’t hear anything but my dogs! The first time I use it the dogs stopped immediately. I only pushed the button once. They stopped then looked at me and I showed it to them and said “no” and that was it! After several days I have only needed to use it twice. I hold it in my hand so they can see it and then I simply say “no” and they stop barking. I can’t believe it. Plus they seem calmer. I work from home a few days a week, the remaining I'm in the office. My dog is a good listener, but feels he needs to "protect" the house fiercely at times, ie: when the dumpster is out doing its job. They are toy poodles and the shot collars cannot get through the fir to the skin to be effective consistently. This device worked from the 1st day. Just purchased this product and it is amazing. I have had my dog for two years and spent months with a trainer and tried several methods to calm her when company visits. Wow, this is amazing! It only took a few minutes after using this thing before I didn't even have to turn it on to stop his excessive barking!!! all I have to do is pick the device up and he lays down an stops barking immediately! It has even prevented him from barking at his usual set offs .like some one in the street. This is a great product! It works the first time on dogs that you have never met! It is humane and does not hurt them. You can get any dog's attention even when it is freaking out. I use it for training my dog. I had a hard time breaking him of jumping on guests when they came into my house. Just a click and he stopped and sat down or ran away. OK, this is the BEST for controlling your dog. I had purchased several bark collars in the past that never worked very well. It would always take several loud barks before it would even begin to tame her and most of the time she just ignored it. BUT....this little item is a gem. No barking whatsoever. I have two Yorkies who like to bark at the front door. The door is glass so they can see all the people passing by. I like them to bark if someone comes in the driveway, but not just passing. It works! At least it works on our 3 dogs. When One puppy starts to bark, then the others follow. Sometimes I feel noisy. This product is excellent, and it appears to work better on my dogs. Sometimes, it only works on two of them. No matter what, it works! The training mode is just clicking one button-works great for the two dogs; the other one needs more clicking buttons. I bought because I live in an apartment and the guy next door let's his dog bark all day long. It seemed to get his attention and cause his barking to stop for a little while. It also has a light on it but I haven't had cause to use that yet.

I am so impressed with how great this has been working to help train our dog. I like how this is a bit more humane than some other options out there. I love how it has different settings on how strong the sound is. I set it for the first setting when my dog is barking when she shouldn't be or when she is jumping on company and it has worked absolutely amazingly. Out of all the training items I have tried this is the best one. It takes a 9 volt battery (not included) and so far I haven't had to change the battery once. I am super impressed with this product and recommend it to anyone trying to train their pet.

We have tried various training techniques to stop our dog from barking wildly at the TV. The ultrasonic bark controller has helped tremendously, and it is very easy to use. We activated the controller any time our dog would bark at the TV and he would immediately be distracted and turn his attention to us. We would then reward him (verbally and using food) for not barking. It has made a world of a difference and it is a more humane way of training a dog (versus a shock collar or choke collar). We highly recommend this product.
